Any self-respecting person who went to Brisbane, would have also been to the Gold Coast. This place is the fastest access to the beach from Brisbane. The Gold Coast is actually the city that stretches along the beach (about 40 km long) and Surfers Paradise is a neighborhood in it, boasting one of the most famous beaches in Australia. Gold Coast is the fastest growing city in Australia and\u00a0is one of the main location for tourism (about 10 million tourists a year) in Queensland.
\nFrom Brisbane, we got up early to catch the train from Southbank Station heading towards Surfers Paradise. The journey takes 1.20 hours. Once at Nerang Station, we take the bus to Surfers Paradise. It takes roughly 2 hours from Brisbane to reach the beach. Once there, you will realize the vastness of the beach, endless on both sides …
\nThe Beach is so long that the areas monitored by lifeguards are spaced every 500 meters. I went several times there in 5 months and have seen the differences between the waves in summer and winter. In summer the waves are huge and one can get a nasty good slap if not careful. At the contrary, in winter, the waves are ridiculously small.<\/p>\n

Surfers Paradise is aptly named and is really great for fun time in the waves, bodyboarding or surfing! By day, it offers relaxing moments basking under the sunshine, enrolling in a surfing lesson offered by the many professionals charging by hour or day or just renting a surfboard from the shops nearby and try em’ out .
